Case in Point

A wasted opportunity

As if to endorse yesterday’s post about the importance of crow control, I found this empty oystercatcher egg by the side of the loch infront of the house this morning.

One response to “Case in Point”

  1. It really hurts when Lapwings, Curlews and Oystercatchers are predated this way. We saw a Raven taking the eggs from a Curlew the other day, despite everything the mother threw at it. Heartbreaking.
